The Molina Foundation of Southern California, a national nonprofit organization focused on reducing disparities in access to education and health, has granted Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) more than 11,000 new books, which will go to its programs and child-centered non-profits including United Way, the Kern Literacy Council, and the Assistance League Bakersfield.  The books were packaged for delivery last month with volunteer support and boxes and packing supplies donated by the Rosedale Highway Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Bakersfield.
