LIQUID CANDY Sipping two or more cans of regular soda a day may double your chances of developing kidney disease (which can lead to heart disease). Sugar is thought to be the culprit, since downing diet soda doesn't have the same effect. So reduce your consumption of regular soft drinks and get your fizz fix from something calorie-free, like seltzer.
