Why I'm Thankful

Pete_and_Pearl

Thanksgiving season gives us many opportunities to rejoice in family and friends and celebrate all that blesses our lives. KCFM wanted to find out what local families were thankful for this year.  We caught up with some of them enjoying the fun indoor activities at American Kids Sports Center and we found others taking pleasure in this gorgeous fall weather. Here’s what they had to say.

Intro by Vaun Thygerson

The Stancliffe sisters, Ashley, age 15, and Kaitlyn, age 12, enjoy a perfect Fall evening in their backyard.  They both say the are thankful for the same things: “Family, friends, and church.”

Siblings Kaedin and Calista Bryan enjoy a beautiful Fall afternoon exploring Kern County.  Kaedin, age six, says, “I am thankful for God, life, family, and friends.” Calista, age five, says, “I am thankful for God, my family, and everyone around me.”

Seventeen-year-old Josh Wright is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He says, “I’m thankful for friends and family because they always have my back. They are my motivation.”
