KCFM's adorable 11-year-old cover model, Logan Bopp, can't wait to pick out her Valentine's Day cupcake. With her parents, David and Jacque, and her older brother, Dean, the Bopp family buys a dozen cupcakes of different types from Sweet Surrender each Valentine's Day. Logan always gets to choose her scrumptious dessert first, because she is the youngest. She usually decides on the pink champagne one Ė her favorite. This year for the holiday, she also plans on wearing a red and light pink outfit and using a wave curling iron to add a "beach wave" to her hair.
As a family, the Bopps really enjoy going to China Peak to snowboard. Logan also loves to take "girly" trips to Pismo Beach with her mom, where she enjoys taking pictures while walking on the beach, hunting for sea shells, watching the sunset, and drinking hot chocolate on the balcony of a local restaurant. "We love our "girly trips" together," says Jacque.
During the colder months, they also spend a lot of time watching movies on Netflix with a fire going and all the lights turned off. "We call it 'theater mode,'" says Jacque. When the weather warms up in the summer, you can find them enjoying their pool or barbecuing.
A sixth grader at American Elementary, Logan plays volleyball and the flute in the band. Her favorite things at school are friends, history class with Mr. Maher, band practice, and recess. She plans on attending USC for college. When she grows up, she wants to be a famous volleyball player or singer.
A huge fan of One Direction, Logan has decorated her room with posters of this popular band. She especially likes the blonde of the group, Niall Horan. Her favorite song of theirs is called, "Kiss You."
When Logan is not at school, practicing her flute, or playing volleyball, you can find her shopping for new clothes or hanging out with her dwarf hamster, Harriet. She might also be reading her favorite book, "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe," by C.S. Lewis, or watching her favorite movie, "The Notebook."
When asked if she is excited to be KCFM's February cover model, she replied with an emphatic, "YES!"
