First Friday Artwalk
Highlight the vibrant creativity of downtown Bakersfield. Walk showcases artists, poets, galleries and vendors. Art Walk takes place in downtown Bakersfield on the first Friday of every month.

CSUB 6th Annual Gospel Fest
The 6th Annual Gospel Fest will bring the Bakersfield community together to celebrate the kickoff of Black History Month. The event will feature a choir, dance groups, and soloists from the spiritual community. Admission is free, and this event is open to the community. Admission is free.

Cycle Centennial Corridor
Bakersfield cyclists will have the opportunity to bike along lanes of the Centennial Corridor before it officially opens to motorists. Blue Zones Project and the City of Bakersfield will be hosting Cycle Centennial — a 1.5-mile bike ride along the Centennial Corridor freeway — to celebrate the completion of the long-awaited construction project that connects Highway 58 to the Westside Parkway and Interstate 5. Participants can check-in on the Centennial Corridor off-ramp on Mohawk Street. Organizers said check-in for the event will end at 10:30 a.m.
