Olympic Torch Cupcake Cones

Let the games begin! Kick off the Summer Olympics by passing out your very own festive and delicious Olympic Torches! Go Team USA!

Ingredients:

1 Box Cake Mix (any flavor, but Funfetti would be especially cute!)

Ice Cream Cones

Frosting (canned or homemade)

Yellow food coloring

Toothpicks

Red Fruit Roll-ups

Directions:

1. Follow the box instructions to mix up cake batter.

2. Place ice cream cones upright in high-sided baking dish (like a loaf pan). Carefully spoon cake mix into cones until 2/3 full.

3. Bake @ 350 for 30 min (oven times vary). Let cool completely.

4. Add yellow food coloring to the white frosting until the desired shade of yellow. Pipe onto cones using the piping tip of your choice.

5. Cut fruit roll up to have a “flame-like” appearance. Wrap around toothpick to get it to stick up nice and tall like a flame should, then poke into cupcake torch center.
