You can help send the Bakersfield Drum Line to the World Championships. This Spring Bakersfield College (BC) Drum Line will head to the Winter Guard International (WGI) Percussion PIO World Championships in Dayton, Ohio to compete against some of the best drum lines in the country. In fact, in 2019 BC’s Drum Line were awarded WGI Percussion PIO World Champions. PIO stands for Percussion Independent Open.

To help cover the costs of travelling to Ohio, BC’s Drum Line is offering fresh, beautiful Christmas trees, handmade wreaths, garland, and swag straight from the Pacific Northwest. These trees are different than what you would find in your local tree lots as they are fresh-cut, premium nursery-quality trees.

If you have an artificial tree or would rather not have a tree, BC’s Drum Line offers an option where you can support them and donate a tree and/or wreath to an active-duty military member and their family. They partner with the national “Trees for Troops” program that will deliver these donations to bases the first week of December.
