Adventist Health's Free Children's Immunizations Program Dates 2025

Adventist Health Bakersfield has partnered with First 5 Kern to provide free immunizations to Kern County children. Children’s immunization clinics will be open to the public, ensuring local families receive access to essential vaccinations for preventable diseases.

Vaccines are FREE for children ages 0-5, regardless of health insurance.

Vaccines are FREE for children ages 6-18 who meet one of the following criteria:

• No health insurance
• Enrolled in Medi-Cal (Please bring Medi-Cal card to every visit.)
• American Indian or Native Alaskan

Other things to consider:

• Adventist Health offers a Hemoglobin test FREE of charge for children, expecting/postpartum mothers, regardless of health insurance. (WIC, school, or doctor’s referral required).
• Your child’s Immunization cards are required.
• Please be aware that our program DOES NOT offer TB skin tests or physicals.
• Clinics may be canceled due to weather conditions. Please call our office before arriving.
• They may stop registration 30 minutes before closing time.

*Parents with children over the age of five may make an appointment by calling 661-869-6740. No appointments are necessary for children five or younger. Children who are under the age of five and their siblings will be given priority due to grant funding from First 5 Kern. Immunization cards are required for all visits.
