Please join the Kern County Network for Children as we welcome Ilene Parra, Director of Client Services at The Open Door Network. Join our training to learn more about Child Sexual Abuse Awareness and Prevention. The training will consist of an overview of sexual assault and the different types of sexual abuse. The training will include red flag indicators, what a perpetrator can look like, and prevention techniques on educating children and teens about sexual abuse. Lastly, this training will provide a brief overview of The Open Door Network services, the reporting process when it comes to sexual abuse, and the role of an advocate.
