Besides acting and standup comedy and managing his own comedy venue in West Hollywood, ‘Laugh Factory’, he works with civic and educational groups like Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, etc. For such contributions, he has been honored with the ‘Humanitarian of the Year Award’ by the ‘City of Fresno’.
